VoxCann a eu le plaisir de discuter des aspects psychosociaux du cannabis avec les étudiant.es du CÉGEP Lionel-Groulx lors de ce midi-conférence. Nous avons parlé de l’histoire de la prohibition du cannabis et de ses effets particuliers chez les personnes racisées, de l’éducation sur le cannabis, de la signification de la légalisation, de l’importance de contextualiser la consommation et des liens entre la consommation de cannabis et la santé mentale.
Nous avons eu des échanges fructueux avec les étudiant.es en répondant à leurs questions et en parlant ouvertement de la réduction des méfaits. Nous avons aussi discuté de l’importance d’une éducation factuelle pour permettre non seulement la prise de décisions informées par rapport à sa propre consommation, mais aussi en lien avec le soutien que l’on peut offrir à ses ami.es et ses proches qui consomment du cannabis.
